What is Kraftify?
A host for the things a running app actually needs behind it. A Postgres, a Redis, a Minecraft server for the game you have an agent writing, or any container on a TCP port. One catalogue, one set of tools, one bill. The database and the game server are the same shape of object on purpose, because the agent asking for either of them should not have to know which kind of problem it is solving.
What you get #
- A box that is on when it should be, with a known version.
- A connection string the app can use, and an env key recorded without the value being stored.
- A console you can read from your terminal, not only from a browser tab.
- A CLI and an MCP server that do the same thing, so an agent can drive all of it.
- A retention manifest listing everything the account stores, which is four things.
What you do not get #
- Root, ever. The console is your target, not a shell around it.
- Custom kernels, custom networking, or a hypervisor to tune. A custom image gets you your own build on our kernel, not your own kernel.
- Telemetry, crash uploads, or an agent phoning home.
- A discount for going quiet, and no volume tier. The price is the price, and it is published in a form your agent can read at pricing.md.
How billing works #
You are billed per target, per month, at the published rate for its kind and size. A monthly ceiling stops a create that would cross it, including when the agent is the one asking. Nothing bills while no region is running, and there is no minimum. See Billing.
Kraftify has not launched. Every region is still waiting on funding, and we would rather say that on the docs page than in a launch post.
