Kraftify vs other hosts

This page compares Kraftify as it would run funded against the hosts you can buy from today. Funded means first regions live, billing on, and the rates below in force. Until funding lands there is nothing to buy here, so read this as a plan you can check, not a product you can click.

No region is funded yet. Every rate and row below describes the planned product. For the status of record, see Region status.

The condition #

The comparison assumes a funded round large enough to buy and run the first nodes. At that point the catalogue is Postgres, Redis, Minecraft and containers in small, medium and large, at USD 7, 14 and 28 per target per month, with egress at USD 0.02 per GB. Those numbers are already published in Billing and How much does a server cost?. Nothing else about the product changes with funding. The CLI, the MCP server and the ceiling already exist as documented.

Against game hosts #

Typical game hosts such as BisectHosting and Hostinger sell game servers and do it well. The difference is scope: they sell the game, Kraftify sells the box, so the database behind your game and the game itself are one object with one bill.

Against cloud platforms #

Platforms such as Railway, Render and Fly.io run anything in a container and own the region map today. They beat Kraftify on footprint, integrations and years of uptime. Kraftify answers with a narrower promise: fixed per target pricing, an agent native interface, and data handling that keeps no copy it could be asked to produce.

Against managed Postgres #

Providers such as Supabase and Neon run excellent Postgres. Supabase bundles auth and storage around it, Neon offers branching and scale to zero. Kraftify offers neither bundle. It offers a fixed size Postgres with scheduled backups, a connection string your agent already holds, and a host that never sees the value. See Managed Postgres, explained.

What competitors do better today #

  • They exist. You can deploy this afternoon and they will answer support tickets tonight.
  • They publish status history and SLAs. Ours would start empty on day one.
  • They have regions near your players. Ours start with the first funded nodes only.
  • They have ecosystems: one click apps, marketplaces and years of guides.

A comparison page that hides this is an ad. Funded Kraftify competes on price shape, agent interface and data handling, not on footprint or history.
