Filing a Notice

If your copyrighted work is hosted on a Kraftify box without permission, send a notice to our designated copyright agent:

Include all of the following (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

• What the work is and where it originally appears (a link to the authorized version), plus where the infringing copy lives (URLs, target addresses, whatever locates it).
• Your name, address, phone number, and an email that reaches you.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is unauthorized, and that the information in the notice is accurate.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you own the work or may act for the owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices get one reply asking for the missing piece, then nothing. We act on complete ones within 24 hours.

Counter-Notices

Got something taken down that should not have been? Reply to the same address with your name and address, what was removed and where it lived, consent to the jurisdiction of the US federal district court for your address (or any US federal district if you are outside the US) and to accept service of process from the complainant, and your signature under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification.

A valid counter-notice restores the content in 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant files in court first. We forward your details to them either way, so do not file one anonymously and expect it to work.

Repeat Infringers

Three valid notices in 12 months terminate the account under the Acceptable Use Policy, with the reason shown on the ban screen. Termination for infringement can be appealed like any other.
